Rachel Hutchinson

Nursery Manager

Rachel has worked for Holbourn House since 2007. In that time she has gained a BA (Hons) in Early Years studies. Her passion is to provide the best start in life for all children - she is our leader.

Cliff Martin

Nursery Owner

Cliff has owned Holbourn House alongside his wife since 1990. He manages site maintenance, facilities and our finances - he is our male role model.

Emily Lowde

Early Years Practitioner & Forest School Leader

Emily (EYPS) joined the Holbourn family in 2016. Her loving and caring nature puts smiles on everyone's faces - she is our cheerleader.

Charlotte Phillips

Early Years Practitioner

Charlotte (NVQ L3) rejoined Holbourn House in 2018. She brings strength and vitality to engage children's confidence and self esteem - she is our light.

Paul Fletcher

Nursery Chef

Paul's passion for food drives his dedication to providing freshly cooked, well-balanced healthy meals and snacks for children - He is our nourisher.

Sarah Winterbourn

Early Years Practitioner

Sarah (Fd) is intuitive and diligent. She is gregarious and always full of inventive, exciting and stimulating ideas for children to play and engage with. She is our creator.

Bernie Martin

Nursery Owner / SENDco

Bernie (Ba Hons) has owned Holbourn House with her husband Cliff since 1990. Her wealth of knowledge and experience brings depth of practice - she is our influencer.

Sarah Gibson

Forest School Leader

Sarah (NVQ L3) has had over 15 years of Early Years wisdom. She has developed a thirst for outdoor learning - she is our outdoor champion.

Jo Summerskill

Early Years Practitioner

Jo (EYE L3) found a love for Early Years after having her son. Her daily presence brings consistency to children's lives - she is our stabiliser.

Faye Parker

Early Years Practitioner

Faye (EYE L3) has an extensive knowledge base of child development and uses this to challenge play and learning - she is our supporter.

Lauren Martin

Early Years Practitioner

Lauren's playful and friendly attitude brightens opportunities for children. She also has a questioning mind helping to continually strengthen her knowledge base - she is our warmth.

Georgina Talbot

Administration assistant

Georgina progressed from Holbourn parent to Holbourn team member. Her loyalty and devotion over the past 12 years is an asset to our nursery - she is our companion.

Alison Pope

Deputy Nursery Manager / SENDco

Alison (BA Hons) started her journey with Holbourn House as a parent. She brings her childminding experience and expertise to enhance our setting  - she is our guide.

Karen Coward

Early Years Practitioner

Karen (NVQ L3) has years and years of childcare experience. Her maturity and skills provide children with a broad range of opportunities - she is our rock.

Kirstie Gibson

Early Years Practitioner

Kirstie (EYE L3) evolved from parent to team member. Her calming qualities yield patience and enable children to achieve their goals - she is our anchor.

Tegan Tosh

Forest School Support

Tegan's excited yet relaxed approach brings subtle and grounding support to children when encouraging them to access our woodland environment  - she is our friend.

Samantha Prentice

Early Years Practitioner

Samantha (NVQ L3) brings a wealth of experience from a variety of educational settings. She is completely dedicated to children's growth and success - she is our motivator.

Louise (NNEB) is conscientious. Her reliability creates such sturdy and continuous care for children whilst delivering diverse, high quality activities - she is our balancer.
