Rachel

Managing Director

First Aid Trained

Rachel has worked for Holbourn House since 2007. In that time she has gained a BA (Hons) in Early Years studies. Her passion is to provide the best start in life for all children - she is our leader.

Bernie

Director / SENDco

First Aid Trained

Bernie (BA Hons) has owned Holbourn House with her husband Cliff since 1990. Her wealth of knowledge and experience brings depth of practice - she is our influencer.

Cliff

Director

Cliff has owned Holbourn House alongside his wife since 1990. He manages site maintenance, facilities and our finances - he is our male role model.

Karen

Early Years Practitioner

Karen (NVQ L3) has years and years of childcare experience. Her maturity and skills provide children with a broad range of opportunities - she is our rock.

Ardita

Early Years Practitioner

Ardita's experiences teaching in Bali has developed her fun loving yet calming nature with children. She is eager to enhance all play opportunities for children - she is our energy.

Amy (QTS) has worked in schools before joining us here at Holbourn. She enjoys bringing the children together for group activities - she is our teacher.

Kara

Kara joined the team after teaching English in Hong Kong. She is studying for her Level 3 apprenticeship to become an Early Years Educator - she is our vitality.

Deputy Nursery Manager

Jo (EYE L3) found a love for Early Years after having her son. Her daily presence brings consistency to children's lives - she is our stability.

Early Years Practitioner / Deputy SENDco

Mollie (EYTS L7) has a wealth of childcare experience and a friendly and encouraging manner with the children - she is our inspiration.

Nicola

Nursery Chef

Nicola (NVQ L2 in Catering) has worked as a chef for over 13 years and has also worked in children's care. She brings her experience and enthusiasm for fresh and nutritious food to the nursery  - she is our nourisher.

Sarah

Forest School Leader

Sarah (NVQ L3) has had over 15 years of Early Years wisdom. She has developed a thirst for outdoor learning  - she is our outdoor champion.

Joanna

Early Years Practitioner

Joanna has a degree in education and has over 10 years of experience working in early years as well as 5 years experience working as 1:1 support within a school - she is our balance.

Rebecca

Rebecca has a worked in the education field for many years. She has experience working with SEND and ASD as well as a degree in Education - she is our creativity.

Ruth (EYE L3) qualified as a teacher in South Africa in 2015 before moving to the UK and teaching here. Early Years is Ruths passion and she has been working in nurseries for the last few years before joining the Holbourn Team - she is our reassurance.

Alison (BA Hons) started her journey with Holbourn House as a parent. She brings her childminding experience and expertise to enhance our setting  - she is our guide.

Hollie (NVQ L3) has worked with children for her entire career. She has a gentle and caring approach - she is our warmth.

Georgina progressed from Holbourn parent to Holbourn team member. Her loyalty and devotion over the past 12 years is an asset to our nursery - she is our companion.

Tegan's excited yet relaxed approach brings subtle and grounding support to children when encouraging them to access our Forest School environment  - she is our friend.

Donna (NVQ L3) has worked in childcare for 22 years and brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the team and children. She is a keen advocate for outdoor learning - she is our strength.
